Now how can they spin this into GWB's fault? No matter they can just say it and it is fact!
Officials in key parts of the Obama administration are increasingly convinced that sanctions will not deter Tehran from pursuing its nuclear programme, and believe that the US will be left with no option but to launch an attack on Iran or watch Israel do so.
GM profit sharing for employees on the average of $7,000.00. How much did GM and Chrysler pay in taxes last year $0.00, and for the near future still no taxes! Plus taxpayers have lost big.Last fall, the government dramatically boosted its forecast of losses on the rescues of General Motors Co., Chrysler Group LLC and their finance units from $14 billion to $23.6 billion. In the government's latest report to Congress this month, the Treasury upped its estimate to $23.77 billion, up from $23.6 billion. How much did grandma and grandpa make on their life long investments in GM -$ EVERYTHING invested or earned up to the government takeover. But the good news for them is they haven't lost another cent since the Obama take over. Yeah... life is not fair!
Looks like revoltnow has drifted away from media matters to pay us a visit. Welcome. BTW, I also remember '72, and McGovern's first running mate, the shock therapy needing, maniac depressive Tom Eagleton who helped 'ol George lose by a LANDSLIDE 60-37%. Or was it the proposal that EVERY american is entitled to a minimum of $6,500/yr. courtesy of the taxpayer? Common sense?? What a failure. Also, as far as anti-semitic Carter goes, the less said, the better.
Who let the lieerals (sorry, Liberals) out of the insane asylum? Carter was good for the country? Go to PBS for you news? Dang, you need to be recommitted!
Its a shame that the Leader Herald is letting this sounding board be over run by liberal activists.
Bring on November, then and only then will this country start to heal itself after being bled to death by the liberals since they gained control in 2006.
Come on Senator Rubio, accept the VP position...so the Socialist Obama is defeated in a landslide!
anybody who's investments earn them 58 million durring a economic low? is a war profiteer.. highly illegal for 99% of us. but not for them. no wonder he needs security... the sad part of all this is how many people think somethings gonna change... common sence polotics??? no such thing. if there was.. george McGovern would have won in 72.
we havn't seen common sence in washington since carter.. he saved us millions just by cutting off un-neccessary spending by the C.I.A. or don't you remember back that far? my best advice for those that "need to know" get your fact's from P.B.S. and not propaganda from the networks. then decide who's the common sence candidate. or if ya wanna keep hanging on the words of people we can't trust? plug your ears and get out and vote for anybody but a 1%er like ol mitt.. herman kain was a better choice!!! no wonder the rest of the world thinks of us as stupid puppets, played by our own GVT.
A double AMEN to that allhope! Also, same is true with NAFTA...backed by most Repubs and signed by Clinton...Ross Perot pleaded not to pass that...he keeps looking better and better.
This is exactly what both parties want. Voters playing the blame game. When dissected, all these budget issues have BOTH parties finger prints. The fall of the mortgage industry started with 2 Rep. senators supporting a bill to repeal the Glass/Steagall act (put in place after the great fall in '29) it was signed into law by Pres. Clinton in late Nov. before he left office. Bush and Obama both inherited that. Point is, both parties really aren't different. we have 2 choices to get to the same place.
No I have not changed my views. It is not our governments job to save any corporation. There have been bankruptcies in the past that went according to plan without intervention. And this intervention was as unfair to everyone involved. I do not hold the democrat party responsible for every problem that we face today... but the unreasonably partisanship that has hindered our economic recovery is unforgettable. Who wins when spending is this far out of control? Who wins when 4 years of partisan work is repealed on the first day in office for a new president? The way our country is supposed to work is when people agree on a plan that when enacted everyone has a hand in it and it reflects both parties fairly. This is the reason that Obama does not deserve a second term. And his first term will be erased by the mistakes that they made enacting these policies. check out "w w w dot road to repeal dot com" There is a lot of ill will out there and it was brought on by unfair Obama p
And how much of the soaring debt is due to 2 unfunded wars, tax cuts in 2001 and 2003 that we didn't pay for, and a prescription drug plan for seniors that we didn't pay for??? The blame goes all over the board, including O'bama. But I must say that the refusal to even want to address the inequitable tax codes in this country by the right wing faction of the GOP is as mind boggling as their willingness to default on the Nat'l debt, something which thankfully other GOP members didn't agree to.
Deficit spending during Obama’s four years in the White House (based on his own figures) will be an estimated $5.170 trillion — or $5,170,000,000,000.00. To help put that colossal sum of money into perspective, if you take our deficit spending under Obama and divide it evenly among the roughly 300 million American citizens, that works out to just over $17,000 per person — or about $70,000 for a family of four.
George was also an idiot, you are the one that brings him into the fray. If you want to live the fairy tale, go ahead, the dems decided as soon as they had control to go ahead and get everything on their dream wish. The steamrolled their way to a huge success story. First they used their first two years getting a healthcare bill that they will likely loose ot repeal as soon as the election is over. During those first two years of full control, the Democrat controlled both houses they couldn't pass a budget. and still haven't and are now setting up the republicans as the reason. Go ahead and dream. A corrective vote is going to happen and Obama will relocate in 11 months. Check out the Bye Bye Obama clock web site for the exact details to the demise.
whoa, what a shocker!..TOT is blaming those dirty Dems! The "one sided" views you mentioned were written by the editor of Motoramic!?! In your quest to pin the blame for the bailout totally on Obama, guess who initiated it with billions of dollars?...none other than George Bush!!...and in this instance he did the right thing, thankfully over the objection of Senate GOP right wingers. The article also points out that without gov't intervention, the economy would have been devastated...this confirms what leading economists on BOTH sides of the aisle have consistenly maintained that if GM had declared bankruptcy, even in its most lenient form, the ripple affect on the US economy would have been disastrous, resulting in job losses in the millions. Yes, mistakes were made along the way, but overall, BOTH DEMS AND REPS did the right thing, and saved the economy from an even worse fate.
What concerns me is those that defend Obamas takeover of GM and gift to Fiat of Chrysler. You can only provide the conjecture that is manufactured by the democrats and insiders from the takenover car companies that provide one sided views. What concerns me is a president that took the life savings of the lifetime investors in GM and provided the Union with shares that they simply didn't earn. Then did just the opposite when his investment in Solyndra bankruptcy giving the investors back money ahead of the taxpayers. It is all what is convenient for democrats at the time as to what they do and defend.
True we can't keep the status qou but...Each Of Rommney's 5 boys have a 100 million dollar trust fund. Do you think he will be in touch with our needs? Just asking....
Romney is a Michigan native, his father was a popular governor for years...yet why is Romney almost neck and neck in the polls with Santorum in Michigan??...to find out, go to yahoo and read the article about how factually inaccurate Romney's statements are about the auto bailouts. I don't support either candidate, but this would especially concern me about Romney....
Ron Paul campaign gets more bang for the buck from their signs that seem to remain posted 365 days a year. Lose an election; run again your signs are still up...That is saving money! Seriously, it has been time for a change for years. If either party was so good, why have they not held onto the office? The next party could have Big Foot as their icon! Has to be better than a donkey and elephant.

Politics! The debt that I was referring to is ONLY OBAMA spending. Not from prior presidents. Obama has that covered with the "I inherited" bit!
